Stage 1

Paul contacted us for information regarding tuning his new Audi S3, just looking for a boost in power. After discussing a few different options we decided to go for the APR Carbonio intake alongside the APR stage 1 software.

WHP before mapping: 237     Torque: 293

WHP After mapping: 296      Torque: 326

APR stage 1 software on K04 2.0TFSI offers gains of over 56bhp and 58lb-ft. This kind of power is achievable on Golf MK5 Edition 30, MK6 Edition 35 and R and Seat Leon Cupra R using the APR stage 1 software.

Stage 2

After enjoying his new power for a few weeks Paul decided that he wanted more, making use of the existing custom downpipe fitted to the car we order the parts required to take the car to stage 2. Paul opted to replace the Carbonio for the Racingline intake system, providing the necessary air flow. Stage 2 on these cars requires and upgraded high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) to keep the stage 2 power consistent and safe. We used the APR HPFP to accompany the software, sticking to the same setup used by APR during development.
