The Nürburgring Nordschleife</h4>
<p>The KW Clubsport coilovers provide the ability to adjust for different track surfaces, sharp turns and abrupt elevation changes. The KW Clubsport is in its home environment on the famous twists and turns of the 20.8 km long Nürburgring Nordschleife circuit.</p>
<p>As a supporting suspension manufacturer to numerous different racing series. KW had claimed 6 ADAC Zurich 24-hour victories within 10 years at the famous Nürburgring circuit and the ADAC GT Masters 2011 Championship. More then 70 race teams are equipped with KW coilover systems in the VLN Endurance Championship series. These race teams rely on KW’s racing expertise and experience for their vehicle setup. This information is mirrored in the development of the KW Clubsport coilover systems.</p>
<p>The KW Clubsport 2-way and KW Clubsport 3-way (with separate reservoir) provides the user numerous adjustment settings. This allows to user to dial the suspension setup to his/hers driving style and to adjust or match the tire/wheel setup of the vehicle.</p>
<p>Rebound and compression dampening is independently adjustable by hand via the integrated click adjusters. Adjustable top mounts are optional on certain applications.</p>

<p>The rebound adjuster knob provides 16 precise clicks to personally dial in your desired vehicle setup. Thus allowing you the possibility to influence wheel/tire loads or take into concern chassis characteristics. <p>Using the Nordschleife as it’s testing grounds and the 7-post rig, KW developed it’s 3-way Clubsport coilover kit. Wheel loads, vehicle weight and chassis reinforcements (increased body stiffness) can all be taken into consideration with adjustment capabilities of the 3-way Clubsport. Similar to KW Competition 3-way coilovers, low-speed and high-speed compression adjustment is done via KW’s patented two-valve control on the reservoir.</p>
<p>By hand, you can vary the low-speed compression damping with six precise clicks at the purple adjustment wheel. The gold adjustment wheel allows the user to change the high-speed compression damping with 14 precise clicks. Rebound adjust is provided with 16 adjustable clicks providing a noticeable change the rebound adjustment setting. A reduction in rebound forces provides a more comfortable ride quality suitable for highway driving.</p>

<p>With the KW coilover Variant 1 you can achieve maximum lowering in the tested adjustment range. Depending on vehicle model this varies between 30 to 70mm or 50 to 90mm. Even after years you can adjust the height quickly and easily due to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite collar. Lowering at the front axle is made using our one piece composite height adjuster, on the rear axle this is the same unless the car has a seperate spring and shock absorber. The supplied rear height adjuster sits either above or below the rear spring.</p>

The patented KW-valve technology for separate adjustment of rebound and compression damping allows you to individually setup your suspension.The adjustable KW bottom valve adjusts the low-speed range of the compression level in twelve clicks.</p>
<p>You don’t need any adjusting tools because of the patented compression adjuster at the lower end of the stainless steel housing. The adjustable compression damping with its twelve exact clicks allows you to manually influence body roll, without having to change the spring rate which optimally matches the rebound.</p>
<p>With the individually adjustable rebound setup of the KW coilover Variant 3 “inox-line”, you can directly influence the handling and comfort with its precise click adjustment. Depending on the vehicle type, the rebound valves of the KW twin-tube dampers on the upper end of the piston rod will be adjusted via an integrated adjustment wheel or a twist-adjustment wheel which is included in the delivery content.</p>
<p>By increasing the rebound force via the adjustment wheel body movements are reduced. You will have more stability during high speed cornering. <p>APR 2.5 TFSI High Pressure Fuel Pump (HPFP)</p>
<p>APR is an OEM supplier of high pressure fueling components to VAG and has operated with a nearly perfect track record since the program’s motorsport backed inception in 2006. With thousands of pumps sold yearly, APR has a wealth of knowledge and manufacturing techniques utilized in the production of critical fueling components with exceptional reliability.</p>
<p>In the early 2000’s, VAG began supplying engines with a new direct injection technology known as FSI. Unlike conventional engines of the past, fuel is sprayed directly into the cylinders under extreme pressure resulting in increased power with lower consumption rates and fewer emissions. The technology has spread across VAG’s entire lineup of modern gasoline engines and is present in the 2.5 TFSI.</p>
<p>The engine’s fueling system operates to a maximum of 2,100 psi (145 bar) of pressure to correctly spray and atomize fuel directly into the engine’s cylinders. This is contrast to multi port injection vehicles of the past which typically operated around 40-60 PSI and were driven off of a low pressure fuel pump. To generate these enormous pressures, the 2.5 TFSI’s variable low pressure fuel pump supplies fuel to a cam driven and solenoid fired high pressure fuel pump which in turn supplies the injectors with fuel.</p>
<p>A three-lobe cam located on the exhaust camshaft drives the 2.5 TFSI’s Hitachi Generation III high pressure fuel pump. As engine speed increases, so does the pump’s ability to displace a greater volume of fuel per minute. The maximum volume the pump can deliver per revolution on the three-lobe cam is dictated by the stroke length from the cam lobe’s lift and bore diameter of the pump’s internal pressurizing cylinder. It’s important to understand, despite the name, APR’s High Pressure Fuel Pump upgrade is not necessarily designed to increase the engine’s fuel rail pressure. The primary goal is to increase the volume of available fuel.</p>
<p>The engine’s fueling system is very capable without modification, even at high power levels generated using APR’s Stage II+ ECU Upgrade and exhaust. However, APR’s Stage III Turbocharger System is capable of generating significantly more power and requires modification to high pressure fuel pump to keep up with fueling demands.</p>

<p>The APR High Pressure Fuel Pump addresses fueling needs and leaves plenty of headroom for safety and further increased power levels in the future. By increasing the pump’s internal capacity, the fueling system is capable of displacing a higher volume of fuel per minute at every RPM.</p>

<p>GFB expands the DV+ range with a direct-fit solution for the weak factory diverter valve used on many European vehicles.</p>
<p>The solenoid coil itself from the factory-fitted valve is great- the ECU opens it faster than any pneumatic valve so why replace it? The weak point however, is the valve mechanism itself. GFB’s DV+ solves this problem by replacing the valve parts with an anodised billet aluminium housing, fitted with a brass piston machined to exacting tolerances.</p>
<p>The end result is sharper throttle response, lightning-fast valve actuation, and it will hold as much boost as you can throw at it. Other manufacturers’ products involve replacing the entire system with a traditional pneumatic valve. This approach requires long vacuum hose runs, additional parts for tapping into the intake manifold vacuum, plus a different solenoid valve to actuate the pneumatic valve, or a ballast resistor to plug into the OE wiring loom. All these additional items result in a product that is slower, less responsive, more expensive and takes much longer to install.</p>
<p>GFB’s DV+ solution on the other hand is more responsive, less expensive, easier to install, and doesn’t cause compressor surge/ turbo flutter. Oh, and it doesn’t require different springs or frequent re-builds either.</p>
