Need to get low? ST coilovers feature a continuous thread construction for height adjustment from moderate to eXtreme! Each coilover is manufactured by KW automotive’s expertise and capabilities ensures maximum quality and fantastic driving dynamics.

Once installed, the ST X coilover can easily be adjusted using a polyamide ring on the galvanized, multiple-sealed strut. Adjustment is different for each car, but typically you can expect between 35 and 65mm of lowering on both the front and rear axles. For lowered cars as standard (such as the BMW E9x 3-series) the ST X coilover features a range of 30 to 60mm (front axle) and 25-55mm (rear axle).

Designed in conjunction with KW Germany, ST X coilovers deliver a sporty handling by reducing the car’s bodyroll during compression as well as improving agility when driving fast. The high quality production of each ST X coilover includes a low-friction and pressure resistant housing alongside a chrome-plated piston rod for maximum longevity. A mono block guide and ST seal package ensures the twin-tube dampers remain free of dirt particles in all weather conditions.

ST suspensions is proud to boast one of the largest applications for sport springs with more than 1000 vehicles now catered for. What’s more, ST sport springs are one of the few lowering springs on the market that (in combination with the standard suspension) will greatly improve the driving behaviours of a vehicle as well as its overall looks!

Performance and style for every car

Made from chrome silicon steel in a cold winding process, ST sport springs are multi-coated with a final expoy coating ensuring an OEM quality and finish. As a result, they withstand a variety of weather conditions all year round. Depending on the vehicle model, ST suspension sport springs will allow a typical lowering of around 20mm on the front axle and 15mm on the rear axle. Some vehicles can achieve a much greater lowering with the VW Golf Mk1 benefitng from 60mm on the front and rear axle!
Compared to standard suspension, ST sport springs lower the centre of gravity to provide much better driving dynamics and handling. Furthermore, compression and rebound is also reduced which allows the car to drive more agile with reduced body roll.

The ideal spring rate for every car

The spring rates of ST sport springs have been designed to work perfectly with the standard dampers to ensure the driving dynamics are improved and ultimately safe. Vehicle weight, wheel loads and the level of lowering has a huge impact on the rebound and compression of a vehicle so it’s essential this is not compromised. Depending on the level of lowering (for example 20mm, 30mm or 40mm), ST sport springs have different spring rates that harmonize with the standard shock absorbers. Put simply the more lowering, the higher the spring rate.

The AP coilover suspension has been designed to compete with the numerous budget coilover brands which have recently flooded the market. Each AP coilover has been designed to ride firmer than the factory fitted suspension. The damping is approx 25-30% stiffer and gives a firm yet forgiving ride. The springs are powder coated blue and the kit also benefits from built in bump stops, helper springs and shorter piston rods which also help provide a smooth ride. Each AP coilover kit will lower your car a maximum of 30mm-95mm.

The KW coilover kit Variant 1 “inox-line” is our entry model for more driving pleasure with an attractive and individually adjustable lowering. Due to its high-quality finish, the use of struts made from stainless steel, corrosion resistant springs and bump stops as well as compatible components stands for long driving pleasure – not just the car’s life.

Continuous lowering

With the KW coilover Variant 1 you can achieve maximum lowering in the tested adjustment range. Depending on vehicle model this varies between 30 to 70mm or 50 to 90mm. Even after years you can adjust the height quickly and easily due to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite collar. Lowering at the front axle is made using our one piece composite height adjuster, on the rear axle this is the same unless the car has a seperate spring and shock absorber. The supplied rear height adjuster sits either above or below the rear spring.
