Not suitable for Brembo/Sub8 Equipped Models

If you are increasing the power of your car, it’s worth thinking about stopping power too. If you need something for heavy track use then take a look at some of our big brake kits, if it’s more of a fast road application your are looking for with occasional track use this package is for you.

Our kit includes some basic braking upgrades designed with performance in mind. Upgrade your standard discs to the factory GTI clubsport discs, offering greater heat dissipation and improved aesthetics over the standard equipment. Pads make the biggest difference when it comes to improving braking.

Pad notes:

The Ferodo DS2500 is a tried, tested and trusted compound suitable for fast road and light track use. – Please note these do not carry R90 approval and are intended for use off road/ontrack

EBC Yellowstuff pads are becoming increasingly popular. Designed for fast road use and suitable for track, they are ideal for the Golf R stock or tuned.

OE Brembo pads for those who are happy with the performance of the stock compound but are looking for something to go with fresh discs

Please note EBC blue stuff and RSL 29 pads are not suitable for road use and are intended for track/competition cars.

CLP Recommendations:
We recommend Brembo HP2000 or Ferodo DS Performance for fast road use paired with VBT or OE Clubsport discs

For use on track we suggest looking at RSL29, EBC Bluestuff or Ferodo DS2500 paired with Reyland floating 2 piece or EBC 2 piece discs.
For serious track use we recommend looking into big brake kits.

Fluid Notes:

ATE is the only fluid we offer to come in 1l bottles, please add 2 bottles to your order for the MMR, Racingline or Motul Brake fluid.
