Many of these vehicles have had the unique Milltek Sport Hi-Flow catalyst and down pipe assemblies developed for the maximum reduction in back-pressure – developed and tested through close co-operation with racing teams in series such as the Britsh Touring Car Championship and the Volkswagen Racing Cup.

Models such as the Mini Cooper and Cooper S are developed for worldwide distribution, rigorously tested on the rolling road and through many miles of subjective analysis. Milltek Sport have completed initial development of a new header-back (manifold-back) performance exhaust system for the new Audi RS5 Coupé.

The system is constructed entirely from stainless steel and uses the RS 5’s existing tailpipes to ensure it retains the OEM-style.

Milltek has fitted it with the an Active Exhaust Valve (AEV). The AEV is an vacuum-operated flap which works on one of dual tailpipes. When closed, the valve helps to keep the sound volume to a minimum but when you press the ‘Dynamic’ button, the valve opens up and releases everything that the wonderful V8 engine has to offer. This feature will certainly make the Audi RS5 a very easy companion to live with on the everyday commute, remaining very civilised when cruising and only releasing its vocal attributes when you want it to.

As part of Milltek Sport’s continual development product programme the latest vehicle to leave the Derbyshire firm’s development centre is the new and long awaiting Audi RS4 B8 4.2l V8.

As one of the fastest load-luggers in the business, Milltek’s engineers were keen to maintain the all-round character and usability of the RS4, whilst injecting a little more drama – and power – into proceedings as they had previously done successfully with their range for the previous RS4 B7 range.

Three primary cat back systems will be made available upon launch, starting with fully EC approved system for those looking to keep things ‘OEM+’, secondly a more ‘fast road’ focused system with a revised centre silencer to produce a fuller sound, and finally a non-resonated system for those looking to extract all of the sounds of the 4.2l V8 power plant. All three systems are designed to provide a perfectly pitched rasp and growl, but without the in-cabin resonance and droning of lesser systems.

By adding a RS4 B8 to it’s own development fleet has allowed Milltek to complete extensive dyno and road testing of this new range, resulting in the optimised system featuring dual 2.37” / 60.3mm pipe work to ensure the perfect compromise between maximum gas-flow and ideal back pressure. The system also utilises Milltek’s latest ‘ValveSonic’ technology, featuring active valves that work seamlessly with the OEM vacuum system and with the Audi Drive Select system. All very clever stuff, but with everything happening automatically, all the driver has to do is sit back and enjoy the sound!

Milltek Sport have released their new cat-back system for the New Audi RS4 4.2 V8. The rear silencers will be available either with exhaust valves (for cars equipped with the Sport button) or without valves.

The car is rated at 420bhp as standard and independent UK testing has shown power gains of up to 20bhp on the final Milltek production cat back systems! We’re looking forward to seeing what the improvement will be with the manifolds and downpipes / high-flow catalysts as well!!!

The KW coilover kit Variant 1 “inox-line” is our entry model for more driving pleasure with an attractive and individually adjustable lowering. Due to its high-quality finish, the use of struts made from stainless steel, corrosion resistant springs and bump stops as well as compatible components stands for long driving pleasure – not just the car’s life.

Continuous lowering

With the KW coilover Variant 1 you can achieve maximum lowering in the tested adjustment range. Depending on vehicle model this varies between 30 to 70mm or 50 to 90mm. Even after years you can adjust the height quickly and easily due to the dirt resistant trapezoid thread and composite collar. Lowering at the front axle is made using our one piece composite height adjuster, on the rear axle this is the same unless the car has a seperate spring and shock absorber. The supplied rear height adjuster sits either above or below the rear spring.
