Upgrading to an aftermarket exhaust system or increasing engine performance generates significantly more heat in the drivetrain area. With the exhaust sitting closer to the CV boots, this excess heat leads to premature cracking and failure of the factory rubber boots. Over time, this can cause grease leaks, CV joint wear, and eventual driveline issues—especially under aggressive track conditions. BMW’s response to this well-known issue is to fit CS/CSL driveshafts, which come at an eye-watering cost of over £2,000. MMX offers a smarter, cost-effective alternative that achieves the same level of protection without the need for expensive drivetrain replacements.

Our precision engineered exhausts utilise our prestigious track to road technology and research, this gives our development engineers the ability to transfer and share race proven technologies with our road going customers. Fabricated using premium high thermal tolerance T304 motorsport grade stainless steel tube that will endure through the harshest of conditions.

Shaping our large bore pipework using CNC Mandrel bent construction unleashes yet untapped performance by allowing a greater flow of exhaust gas to pass through the system with less obstruction. This often results in our exhausts providing a sharper throttle response and a measurable increase in BHP. Our manufacturing process also yields weight-saving gains when compared to the OE system. With all these improvements packed into our exhausts it’s no-wonder that upgrading with Scorpion has been described as, taking the driving experience to the next level!

The 70mm/2.75” OEM centre silencer delete section removes the original centre silencer and results in a louder exhaust note, all-whilst retaining the OE back-box (rear silencer). This is best for those who wish to improve upon the existing OE system and tune more conservatively.

Please note: If you already have fault codes logged from having the valve motors disconnected without a valve delete plug, you will need to use a OBDII reader to clear these codes prior to installation.
