As part of our expanding Audi product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our RS6 C8 intercooler upgrades suitable for track or fast road use.

In order to ensure there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving, we have developed larger capacity, freer-flowing intercoolers to replace the smaller and more restrictive OEM items.

The original twin intercoolers are mounted between the bumper and inner arch liners and utilise designated air guides on both the front and back to help direct air to and from the intercooler effectively. Wishing to keep these in place, we opted to concentrate on creating a new core design that was the same width and height but deeper to help increase cooling ability.

The result are direct replacement intercoolers that reuse all the original hoses, mounting points and air guides for simplicity but offer a huge 21% increase in overall capacity in comparison to the OEM intercoolers.

Together with our high-flow end tanks to ensure internal flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler upgrades offer greater cooling efficiency and volume over standard. 

The kit reuses all original fixings and includes detailed installation instructions for a simple and effective cooling solution. 

TESTED
Data logging of the turbo outlet/pre-intercooler temperatures and the post intercooler air temperatures showed the AIRTEC Motorsport uprated intercoolers maintained a steady rate with no abnormal spikes, despite the turbo temperature seeing a dramatic rise of nearly 170% in a short amount of time. 
In comparison, the original intercoolers were also logged and when the data overlaid, it highlighted they weren’t able to resist the temperature spike as well, seeing a rise of 60% over the AIRTEC intercoolers.

As part of our expanding Audi product range, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch our enlarged cold side pipe kit for the RS3 8V kit for fast road or track use.

Designed to match our enlarged turbo elbow, our in-house design engineer team have created an enlarged pipework kit to replace the entire cold side, from the intercooler all the way to the throttle body.

From the intercooler, our high-quality Pro Hoses silicone boost hose tapers up from 70mm to maintain 80mm all the way to the elbow, which equates to a 23% increase in comparison to the original pipework. Our AIRTEC Motorsport replacement cast aluminium elbow is nearly 10% bigger than standard and measures 85mm at its widest point, offering a significant improvement in flow and internal capacity. This improves throttle response and reduces restriction, which is key for those chasing increased power from their cars.

A direct replacement, the kit also features a CNC-machined throttle spacer that incorporates a meth port, if required.  

The kit comes with detailed fitting instructions and the comprehensive package also includes replacement Pro Hoses boost hoses, a new O-ring and all fixtures and fittings required for installation.

Finished in powder coated black with a AIRTEC Motorsport cast logo, this uprated cold side kit offers a great benefit for modified RS3 8V owners.

AIRTEC Motorsport De-Cat Downpipe for Hyundai i30N

By removing the original restrictive catalytic converter located within the factory OEM downpipe, back pressure is hugely reduced, which in return means faster response, increased power and a more aggressive exhaust note.

Supplied with an adaptor to marry up to the original exhaust system, it also fits aftermarket systems, making it the a perfect solution to replace the OEM downpipe.

AIRTEC Motorsport Oil Cooler Kit for Hyundai i30N

Following an extensive development process over the past year, AIRTEC Motorsport are proud to launch its new oil cooler kit aimed at modified i30N owners who struggle to maintain steady oil temperatures on track, or during fast road use.

Our kit has been designed in the UK after thorough research and huge experience in developing uprated oil cooler packages for a variety of modified track and road cars.

The challenge with this kit was to integrate a large capacity, external oil cooler mounted neatly behind the grille for direct airflow, whilst integrating seamlessly with the car’s existing fixtures and fittings with no drilling or cutting required.

As a result, we have developed a kit that is completely reversible if need be. The comprehensive package includes a tried and tested 13-row AIRTEC oil cooler, bespoke laser-cut and powdercoated AIRTEC brackets, high quality braided hose lines with Aerotec fittings, and all fixtures, including instructions, for a simple bolt-on installation.

Oil catch cans are vital preventative additions to ensure the performance and efficiency of Direct Injection engines doesn’t deteriorate over time.

AIRTEC Motorsport’s solution to developing a catch can kit specifically for the i30N model utilises the available space to integrate seamlessly within the engine bay. It features a high-quality billet machined bracket, finished in powder-coated satin black, which allows the catch can to attach neatly in place.

The can itself features an internal baffle and dipstick, and detaches to allow easy maintenance. It comes with a comprehensive fitting kit that includes all fixtures and fittings, as well as a detailed installation guide.

Why do I need a catch can?
The original oil breather set up can cause issues with carbon build-up inside the engine’s intake system over time. It forms an oily sludge that covers parts of the intake and inlet valves, which reduces air flow and therefore performance and efficiency.

Once the build-up has formed, it’s a costly process to clean, so it makes sense to take preventative measures in order to avoid carbon build-up forming. A catch can also filters harmful contaminants before they can reach the inlet system.

As part of our expanding Hyundai product range, AIRTEC Motorsport is proud to launch our intercooler upgrade for the facelifted (2021 onwards) i30N suitable for track or fast road use.

In order to ensure there is no noticeable loss in performance during extended periods of hard driving, we have developed a larger, freer-flowing intercooler that is a direct replacement for the smaller and more restrictive OEM item.

Our solution to increasing the intercooler’s size and performance within the confines of the limited space behind the bumper is based upon a stepped twin-core design l with increased depth. This offers an increase in overall capacity in comparison to the original intercooler, as well as a substantial increase in frontal area over standard, which allows it to make the most of the air flow provided.

Together with our high-flow, moulded one-piece cast end tanks to ensure flow is directed correctly and efficiently, the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler offers much greater efficiency and volume over standard.

With a 70mm cold side, this makes the AIRTEC Motorsport intercooler the largest on the market currently for the Hyundai i30N!

Despite this improvement, it fits neatly behind the original bumper, requires no trimming or cutting. The comprehensive fitting kit includes all the correct fixtures and fittings, step-by-step instructions with pictures, new Pro Hoses silicone hoses and should take around 2-3 hours to complete.

The intercooler is available in Pro-Series Black finish and either with or without the AIRTEC Motorsport logo and Gloss Black Pro silicone hoses.
